About

I'm Paolo, a developer based in Belgium. I just finished my studies, and I love building things — iOS apps first, but also websites, tools, and whatever idea won't leave me alone. I'm happiest when I'm learning something new and shipping it.

I have a soft spot for products centered on attention and digital wellbeing — software that is elegant, quiet, and genuinely useful. Right now most of my energy goes into Kaizen, an app blocker and refocus app available on the App Store. It started from a simple frustration: our phones are designed to pull us away from what matters. Kaizen is my attempt to gently tilt that balance back.

Along the way I gave the app a companion — Kai, a hand-drawn panda who shows up to keep things light and human. You'll spot him around this site too.

Kai the panda
Even pandas need fewer notifications. That's kind of the whole point.

What I care about

Calm over noise

Software should help people focus, not fragment their attention.

Small steps

Kaizen (改善) — continuous improvement. Ship, learn, refine.

Craft in the details

Animations, haptics, and copy are features, not afterthoughts.
